This is the first of four sessions in the Strathclyde Methodist Circuit exploring prayer. The first session focusses upon where and when can we pray, looking at the various places we might encounter throughout the day (or night) when prayer is possible, if we might consider it as a conversation with God. In that conversation there are pauses, places of silence, opportunities for us to hear the words of God …to us…individually.
The subsequent sessions will focus upon imaginative prayer, reflective prayer and why doesn’t God answer all our prayers.
