Hung from a dusty crevice.
In a gleaming cupboard white.
Reflecting on its distant memories.
Amidst the frozen, frosty night.
2000 years had passed,
Since that baby was born.
The world had changed dramatically.
Since that frozen, frosty morn.
Angels replaced by robots.
Precious gifts still cost a lot.
Why was that baby delivered,
To that frozen, frosty spot?
Global warming had replaced the ice.
Last time, I took a peep.
If we hadn’t preserved our planet.
We’d have been in water, frozen, frosty deep.
So as I hung amidst the stars.
I saw the earth decay.
